CI Shade uses PVDF-coated membranes, hot-dip galvanised steel and site-specific anchoring so the canopy performs for years with minimal upkeep. Off-site fabrication in our KSA and Bahrain facilities speeds delivery and improves quality control. Components are pre-assembled where practical, painted or galvanised per specification, and wrapped for safe site handling.
We specify membranes and fabrics based on exposure and design life: PVDF-coated PVC for long-term UV resistance and a self-cleaning finish; HDPE knitted fabrics for low-cost solar control; ETFE and PTFE where translucency and high-span framing are required. Steelwork is hot-dip galvanised to industry standards; powder coat options are available for urban projects. Our process follows concept → engineering → off-site manufacture → supervised installation → maintenance handover.
PVDF membranes commonly provide a 15–20 year functional life with correct detailing; steel protections and cathodic considerations extend structural service life. Routine inspections after the first months and then annually reduce small issues becoming large repairs.
