Choice International Shade (CI Shade) - the Gulf Region's leading experts in high-quality tensile and structural shading solutions. Based in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
A swimming pool shade supplier Jubail provides engineered canopies and tensile shelters specifically tailored for pools exposed to Gulf sun, sand and occasional high winds. Architects, contractors and facility managers hire suppliers who can balance shading performance with poolside aesthetics and corrosion-resistant detailing. CI Shade supplies PVDF- and PVC-coated membranes, plus HDPE options for more budget-conscious installations — all specified to reduce glare and surface temperatures.
We operate across Saudi Arabia and Bahrain from our KSA and Bahrain facilities, bringing 23+ years of experience, an 8,000 m² production capacity and ISO-certified processes. Projects are engineered to Gulf stamp standards and, where required, Aramco-approved documentation is provided.
Poolside environments demand attention to three things: corrosion resistance, UV performance and safety. CI Shade engineers every canopy with those priorities in mind. Our design-to-install approach means we take responsibility for structural calculations, membrane patterning and on-site fixings so the finished shade behaves exactly as intended.
Materials matter. We specify PVDF-coated PVC membranes and high-density polyethylene where appropriate because they withstand intense UV, chlorinated atmospheres and sand abrasion. Frames receive hot-dip galvanising or epoxy primer with a polyurethane topcoat to delay corrosion in seaside and pool-chemical environments. Wind loads are calculated between 120–175 kph depending on location and exposure; foundations and connections are detailed to match those figures.
CI Shade uses SolidWorks and CAD for every project. We produce shop drawings, CNC fabric patterns and stamped engineering calculations when clients require Gulf-stamped documentation. That means you get exactly what was specified on paper — no surprises on site. We also collaborate with architects to preserve sightlines and pool sight aesthetic while achieving required shade factors.
Swimming pool shade supplier Jubail projects range from municipal leisure centres to private compounds. Each application has different acoustic, thermal and maintenance needs; we design accordingly.
We select PVDF/PVC membranes and aluminium or S355 structural steel with corrosion protection calculated for coastal and poolside exposure. That cost more upfront — but it delays repaint cycles and reduces downtime in the long run.
Off-site manufacturing in an 8,000 m² facility keeps lead times predictable and quality consistent. ISO certification and Aramco approval underpin our QA process from cut to final bolt-up.
Typical membranes include PVDF-coated PVC (for longevity and stain resistance), plain PVC (cost-effective and proven) and HDPE knitted fabrics for shade sails where translucency is acceptable. Frames use structural steel sections (S275/S355) or aluminium depending on required span and finish. Connections are hot-dip galvanised or epoxy-primed with PU topcoats depending on client preference. Our standard project workflow: concept → site survey → engineering and shop drawings → off-site fabrication → site installation → handover and maintenance plan.
Expect a membrane life of 12–20 years depending on material and exposure; PVDF variants sit at the upper end due to UV stabilisers and protective topcoats. We supply cleaning and inspection schedules and can enroll sites on a maintenance contract to replace tensioning hardware, repair localized damage and inspect weld seams.
