We design for 120–175 kph wind loads and consider sand abrasion in membrane selection. PVDF membranes with a factory-applied fluoropolymer coating and tensile pre-stress reduce dirt adhesion and prolong service life (typical PVDF lifespans are longer than untreated PVC under the same exposure). Also, shade geometry is chosen to manage uplift, water run-off and the acoustic behaviour inside the bowl.
CI Shade uses CAD and SolidWorks for form-finding and fabric patterning, with stamped structural calculations for Saudi projects. That means you get shop drawings and pattern files we can mill in our 8,000 m² production facility. We work with architects on integration — roof connections, drainage interfaces and lighting supports — so there are no surprises on site.

Frames are typically S355 structural steel with hot-dip galvanising and optional polyester powder coatings in exposed areas. Our process runs: site survey → concept & form-finding → engineering & stamp → shop drawings & patterning → off-site manufacture → installation & QA.
Designed correctly, a stadium canopy will perform for years with scheduled maintenance. We recommend a planned maintenance regime: annual inspections, membrane cleaning cycles suited to coastal or desert exposure, and fast replacement of tensioning hardware if corrosion appears.
