PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) coated glass-fibre membranes provide high tensile strength, excellent fire performance and exceptional UV resistance. CI Shade can advise when PTFE is the correct choice versus PVDF/PVC/ETFE options based on translucency, service life and budget. Structural frames use hot-rolled or fabricated steel with protective coatings suitable for the Gulf (zinc-rich primers plus polyurethane topcoats where specified).
