Choice International Shade (CI Shade) - the Gulf Region's leading experts in high-quality tensile and structural shading solutions. Based in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
Pool shade structures Saudi Arabia are engineered canopy systems that protect pools, decks and users from intense sun, UV and heat. Architects, developers and facility managers specifying shaded pool spaces choose tensile membranes or framed canopies to reduce solar gain, limit glare and extend usable hours after sunrise and before sunset. These systems matter across the Gulf because the sun is relentless and conventional pergolas simply do not perform over time.
CI Shade designs, engineers and installs pool shade structures across Saudi Arabia and Bahrain from concept through maintenance. With 23+ years' experience, an 8,000 m² production facility and Gulf-stamped calculations (120–175 kph wind capacity), we deliver solutions that meet ISO and Aramco standards.
Good pool shade design starts with engineering — not aesthetics alone. CI Shade balances sun control, structural safety and long-term durability so the finished canopy performs in desert heat, resists UV degradation and copes with sand-laden winds. You get proven fabric choices, wind-rated steelwork and a delivery team that understands Gulf construction sequences.
We specify PVDF-coated PVC, HDPE and optioned PTFE/ETFE fabrics depending on exposure and budget. Fabrics are selected for UV stability, a low solar-absorption coefficient and a self-cleaning finish where practical. All frames are engineered for 120–175 kph wind loadings and corrosion protection suitable for coastal and inland sites.
CI Shade engineers each pool shade structure using CAD and SolidWorks with fabric patterning and shop drawings produced off-site. Gulf-stamped calculations and value-engineered details are standard; we collaborate with architects and MEP teams to ensure interfaces, drainage and access meet the project brief.
Pool shade structures are used wherever people gather around water: hotels, residential compounds, sports clubs and public leisure centres. Shade extends comfort, reduces water surface evaporation and protects pool finishes from UV stress.
We produce stamped engineering calculations for local authorities and contractors. That includes structural analysis for wind loading, detailed connection design and fabric patterning so the membrane fits first time.
Manufacture takes place in our 8,000 m² facility with environmental controls and trained technicians. Off-site fabrication reduces site time, improves quality control and shortens programme risk for your pool project.
We work with PVC-PVDF-coated fabrics for value durability, HDPE for economical shade sails and PTFE or ETFE where long spans or translucency are required. Steelwork is specified to SANS/ASTM/KSA practice with hot-dip galvanising or industrial-grade epoxy finishes for coastal sites. Typical project stages: site survey, concept modelling, shop drawings, off-site fabrication, certified installation and handover with O&M guidance.
Expected membrane life varies by material: PVDF-coated PVC commonly performs 15–20 years with routine cleaning; HDPE sails last longer in tensile loading but require tension retensioning over time. We offer scheduled maintenance programmes, warranty support and spare fabric pattern files so repairs are fast and accurate.
