Choice International Shade (CI Shade) - the Gulf Region's leading experts in high-quality tensile and structural shading solutions. Based in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
Pool shade structures Jeddah are engineered fabric canopies and framed shelters that reduce solar gain, block harmful UV and make outdoor pools usable through the long Saudi summer. Architects, developers and facility managers use these structures over private villas, hotel pools and club facilities to improve comfort, protect finishes and extend usable hours.
CI Shade designs and installs these systems across Jeddah and the Western Region. We bring 23+ years of regional experience, Gulf-stamped engineering calculations (120–175 kph wind considerations) and an 8,000 m² production facility to each project, from concept sketch through warranty support.
We engineer pool shade structures Jeddah to survive the environment here — relentless sun, abrasive sand and occasional high winds. That focus on performance drives material choices, structural detailing and site methods. The goal is simple: deliver a shaded pool area that lasts without constant repairs or cosmetic failings.
We specify PVDF-coated PVC, HDPE knitted fabrics or specialty PTFE membranes depending on exposure and client preference. These materials offer proven UV resistance and long service life. The steelwork is hot-dip galvanised and optionally epoxy-primed and powder-coated to resist coastal corrosion. All engineering uses Gulf-stamped calculations and considers wind loads in the 120–175 kph band where required.
Design starts in CAD and SolidWorks with full fabric patterning and shop drawings. We produce stamped structural calculations and work with architects to integrate the shade into the pool hardscape and drainage strategy. If you want value engineering to save on foundations or reduce steel tonnage, we do that too—always with clear trade-offs shown on the drawings.
Pool shade structures Jeddah are used in a wide range of projects where sun control, privacy and occupant comfort matter. CI Shade delivers solutions tailored to client program, aesthetics and maintenance budgets.
CI Shade prepares Gulf-stamped calculations and shop drawings and coordinates with local consultants. We account for Jeddah’s coastal salt load and wind profile during the structural design stage so the finished canopy meets municipal and client requirements.
All membrane cutting and welding happens in our 8,000 m² facility under ISO processes with Aramco-approved supply lines available. That production scale reduces onsite welding and speeds installation while keeping quality checks tight.
We select materials to match exposure and budget: PVDF-coated PVC for sealed architectural finishes, HDPE knitted fabric where breathability and lower cost are priorities, and PTFE or ETFE membranes for long-span, light-transmitting structures. Structural steel is specified to S235/S355 grades with hot-dip galvanising and optional powder coat. Project workflow is straightforward—site survey, conceptual options, detailed engineering, off-site manufacture, certified installation and scheduled maintenance.
Expect a PVDF membrane to provide 15–20 years of reliable service with regular cleaning and annual inspections; HDPE fabrics have lower upfront cost but need more frequent tension checks. We offer maintenance programmes that include periodic tension re-tuning, seam inspection and steel touch-up. Warranties vary by material and are documented in the contract.
