We work with PVC and PVDF-coated tensile membranes, HDPE knitted shade cloth, acrylic fabrics and specialist coatings such as PTFE/ETFE where projects demand. Steelwork is designed for structural integrity and corrosion resistance; we supply fabricated frames ready for site assembly and coordinate protective coatings when required. The process runs: concept sketches, structural modelling, fabric patterning, shop drawings, off-site fabrication, on-site installation and final inspection.
PVDF membranes commonly offer a 15–20 year service window with routine cleaning; HDPE shade cloth has a different wear profile and is often selected for economy. CI Shade offers maintenance programs including inspections, tension adjustments and localized repairs so the canopy performs season after season.
