Choice International Shade (CI Shade) - the Gulf Region's leading experts in high-quality tensile and structural shading solutions. Based in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
HDPE shade structures Eastern Province are woven high-density polyethylene canopies and screens designed to reduce solar gain, limit sand intrusion and provide usable shaded areas across hot, coastal and desert sites. Architects, contractors and facility managers specify HDPE where airflow, economy and long-term UV performance are priorities — schools, car parks, playgrounds and industrial yards all benefit.
CI Shade has been delivering engineering-led shade systems across Saudi Arabia and Bahrain for over two decades. We handle stamped calculations (120–175 kph wind capacity), shop drawings, off-site fabrication at our 8,000 m² facility and on-site installation with maintenance programmes available.
HDPE fabric offers an economical balance of sun control and ventilation. The material resists UV degradation, sheds sand and keeps shaded zones cooler than hard roofing solutions. CI Shade combines that material advantage with Gulf-stamped steel framing and a delivery chain that goes from CAD design to site handover.
We design HDPE shade structures Eastern Province to withstand intense UV exposure, salt spray near the coast and episodic sandstorms. Wind loads are calculated per Gulf practice — CI Shade engineers structures for 120–175 kph where required — and detailing prevents ponding while maintaining the woven fabric's tensioned geometry.
Our design team uses CAD and SolidWorks for form-finding and fabric patterning, producing stamped calculations and construction documents. We collaborate with architects and MEP teams to integrate drainage, lighting and anchors so the finished structure matches both aesthetic intent and structural requirements.
HDPE is flexible. You can spec it for shaded car parks, covered walkways, sports canopies or temporary labour rest tents — wherever airflow and solar control matter more than full waterproofing.
CI Shade produces stamped structural calculations and shop drawings to local codes. We validate wind loadings, anchor design and tensioning systems so your HDPE shade meets permitting requirements across the Eastern Province.
Off-site manufacturing in an 8,000 m² facility reduces on-site risk and improves QA. Our process control, welding and finishing ensure consistent fabric patterning and corrosion-protected steelwork for coastal and desert environments.
HDPE woven shade cloth is one of several fabric options CI Shade offers — we also work with PVC/PVDF-coated fabrics, ETFE and PTFE for different performance needs. Typical HDPE shade cloth comes in shade factors from roughly 70–95% depending on weave; steel frames are hot-dip galvanised or epoxy-coated with grade-specific sections sized for site loads. Our process: concept design, structural engineering, off-site fabrication, certified installation and post-installation inspection.
HDPE requires less maintenance than coated membranes because it allows airflow and dries quickly after rain. Periodic inspections, tension checks and debris removal keep performance high; CI Shade offers scheduled maintenance and warranty support, and our projects often include tailored maintenance plans for coastal or high-dust sites.
