Choice International Shade (CI Shade) - the Gulf Region's leading experts in high-quality tensile and structural shading solutions. Based in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
HDPE outdoor shade structures Tabuk are tensioned shade systems that use UV‑stabilised knitted HDPE fabric over engineered steel frames. They’re specified by architects, contractors and facility managers who need proven sun and glare control across schools, car parks and public parks. The material is lightweight, breathable and designed to reduce heat build-up beneath the canopy.
CI Shade designs, manufactures and installs these systems across Saudi Arabia and Bahrain from an 8,000 m² production facility. We provide Gulf‑stamped engineering calculations, ISO-certified processes and Aramco-approved workflows to ensure compliance and predictable delivery on GCC projects.
Choose HDPE where you need economical, high‑performance shade that copes with Gulf conditions. The fabric breathes, sheds sand and provides substantial UV attenuation; the steelwork is pre‑engineered and hot-dip galvanised or powder-coated for long service life. CI Shade handles concept, engineering, fabrication and installation so responsibility sits with one supplier from tender to handover.
We design for intense sun, sand-laden winds and the occasional severe gust. Structures are modelled and detailed to client wind-loads — CI Shade routinely produces Gulf-stamped calculations for the 120–175 kph range — and connections are specified for cyclic loading and dust abrasion. That engineering discipline reduces movement, extending fabric life and protecting fixings.
Every project gets CAD and SolidWorks patterning, full shop drawings and fabric-cut files generated in-house. We work with architects and contractors to value-engineer the canopy shape, column locations and drainage so the finished structure fits site constraints and MEP routes. If you need shop drawings for permit review, we supply stamped documents ready for submission.
HDPE shade is versatile. Use it where you need shade with airflow and rapid drainage, and where full waterproof membranes aren’t required.
We use UV-stabilised knitted HDPE from recognised suppliers; shade factors commonly range with knit density and can be specified to suit solar load requirements. The fabric resists rot and mildew and sheds sand better than coated membranes.
Production happens off-site in our 8,000 m² facility to control quality and schedules. CI Shade is ISO certified and Aramco approved; our teams manage factory QA, protective finishes and pre-assembly before dispatch to site.
HDPE shade cloth is a knitted high‑density polyethylene fabric treated with UV stabilisers and thermal stabilisers to prevent premature degradation. Frames are typically structural steel with hot-dip galvanising and optional polyester powder coat. Our standard process covers site survey, structural analysis, shop drawings, off-site prefabrication, certified installation and a post-install inspection regime.
These systems are low maintenance but not maintenance-free. Periodic washing to remove dust and salt, tension checks after seasonal temperature shifts, and prompt repair of local damage will keep the canopy performing. CI Shade offers maintenance plans and warranty support to fit asset-management schedules in the KSA and across the GCC.
