Choice International Shade (CI Shade) - the Gulf Region's leading experts in high-quality tensile and structural shading solutions. Based in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
Awning installation Madinah refers to the supply, engineering and on-site fitting of fixed or retractable awnings designed for the city's harsh sun and seasonal winds. Architects, facilities teams and developers use these systems to cut heat gain, protect entrances and extend usable shaded space without adding permanent roof structures. CI Shade delivers tailored solutions for commercial, residential and institutional projects that must perform under Gulf conditions.
We work across Madinah and broader Saudi Arabia from initial concept to handover. With Gulf-stamped calculations, ISO certification and Aramco approvals on file, CI Shade matches local regulatory needs and practical site constraints.
Choosing the right awning installation Madinah means specifying materials and structures that resist intense UV, sand abrasion and occasional high winds. CI Shade engineers each installation with the Gulf climate in mind — that matters because an underspecified frame or coating will fail years earlier than expected. We offer both fabric and aluminium systems, and we size connections and foundations to regional wind loads.
We design awnings to withstand wind load ranges commonly required in KSA projects (120–175 kph where specified) and to reduce solar gain using reflective PVDF- or PVC-coated membranes. Short-term heat spikes, persistent UV and airborne sand require coatings with high UV stabiliser content and corrosion-resistant steelwork: galvanised and epoxy-finished where needed.
CI Shade engineers the entire system in-house using CAD and SolidWorks. Shop drawings, fabric patterning and stamped structural calculations are produced for each contract. We collaborate with architects and main contractors to integrate drainage, lighting and automatic systems so the awning is a functioning part of the building, not an add-on.
Awning installations are versatile. They work for sun control, covered walkways and visual identity elements across sectors.
We deliver stamped calculations for local authorities and clients, sizing anchors, piles and steel sections for specified wind loads. That saves time during permit review and reduces on-site rework.
Manufacture happens in our KSA and Bahrain facilities, where we cut, weld and weld-seam membranes, pre-assemble frames and pre-finish steelwork to strict QA checks before shipping to site.
CI Shade works with PVDF- and PVC-coated polyester membranes, HDPE shade cloth and aluminium canopy systems depending on performance and budget. Steelwork is specified in S355 or equivalent; surfaces are galvanised and powder-coated where corrosion protection is required. Our standard delivery sequence is: site survey, concept, engineering and shop drawings, off-site fabrication, factory inspection, site installation and final commissioning.
PVDF membranes typically offer 15–20 years of service when installed and maintained correctly; HDPE performs well for simple shade nets with lower upfront cost. CI Shade provides scheduled maintenance packages, inspection reports and repair works so the awning keeps functioning through seasonal dust, heat and occasional storms.
