We use UV-stabilised acrylic glazing options and recommend thicknesses appropriate to the span and loading — commonly specified between 6 mm and 12 mm depending on application and structural design. The structures are engineered to withstand 120–175 kph wind loads where the project brief or local code requires it; we deliver stamped calculations as part of the contract documentation.
Design is handled in-house. CI Shade drafts in CAD and SolidWorks, creates fabrications-ready shop drawings and produces CNC-cut templates so every canopy fits the column grid and drainage strategy exactly. We work with architects at concept stage, provide value-engineering options and issue Saudi-stamped structural calculations prior to manufacture.
Acrylic canopies suit many commercial and public uses because they are lightweight, translucent and architecturally clean. CI Shade installs them in precincts where visual continuity with glazing is required, or where daylighting and solar control must be balanced with shelter.
We supply full structural calculations stamped for Saudi projects and compatible with GCC practices. That means the acrylic canopy arrives with load tables, connection details and fabricator-ready plates so site approvals are straightforward.
Manufactured in our 8,000 m² facility, frames are shot-blasted and coated, while acrylic panels are CNC cut and sealed. Off-site assembly reduces time on site and minimises disruption to busy Makkah locations.
